David Caradori - Pottery
David Caradori is a well-known and respected Chippewa Valley artist who specializes in handmade pottery. Japanese-style anagama (wood-fired) pieces and salt-fired stoneware among his specialties. The beauty of each piece is the result of 3 days of firing. Continuous stoking of the kiln coats the pots with fly ash and creates flame patterns. Each piece is a unique work of art as a result of this intense process. The work currently on display is from his latest firing.

Richard Christianson - Jewelry
Richard has always felt connected to the outdoors. He enjoys camping, hiking, woodworking and creating “nature-inspired” artwork. He earned a B.A. in art education at Mankato State University. He taught high school art, including jewelry classes, for 32 years in Eau Claire. While teaching, he continued to design, create and sell his jewelry at numerous art fairs throughout Wisconsin. His work is marketed in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Upper Michigan galleries, and by individual commissions. Most of his designs are sterling silver, though he works in gold upon special request. Nature is his primary design source. Although often containing recognizable natural objects, his more abstract designs are inspired by simplified natural elements. Clean and uncluttered, Richard’s jewelry creates visual excitement from shapes that fit well together, and each are unique, individual works of jewelry art.

Deborah Konkel - Watercolors
Deborah is a retired botanist who has been painting in watercolors for about 30 years. An Eau Claire resident, she has shown her art at various venues in West Central Wisconsin. Deborah states, “I am inspired by the beauty of the upper Midwest and love to paint images of nature, especially close ups. I paint with watercolors because I enjoy the way the colors flow onto the paper and the surprises that can happen.”
